Summary:
Masamune Asuka is very popular because of his good looks and excellence in kendo. But despite of his manly exterior, he is actually an otomen. Otomen is a guy whose girly thoughts and hobbies. Asuka is very skilled in cooking and sewing. He also likes sweets, shoujo manga and cute stuffs. He hides his otomen personality carefully until he meets a girl named Miyakozuka Ryo, who then becomes his classmate. Ryo has a contrary personality of Asuka. She can't cook nor sew but masters many martial arts. But depite of their differences, they fall in love to each other in their first meeting. Their classmate, Tachibana Juta who often observes Asuka and Ryo, then becomes a shoujo manga creator. He makes a manga about Asuka and Ryo's relationship titled Love Chick. After some times, Tachibana becomes worried because Asuka never confess his true feeling to Ryo. However, Tachibana keeps encouraging Asuka to confess until the very end. Finally, Tachibana effort isn't useless. Asuka tells Ryo that he falls in love to Ryo from the very beginning and Ryo says that she wants to protect Asuka from the same time as well.

Commentary:
I think the story line is quite unique. There are many parodies and comedy, so the drama isn't boring and I laughed a lot. The casts performed well, espicially Okada Masaki. He acted as an otomen guy and a top kendo fighter very well and it is very convincing ;D . I love the ending theme, Lover Soul by Shibasaki Kou as well as the ED.
