I watched Arakawa Under the Bridge some time ago and I got impressions that this anime was very weird and funny. This anime has 2 seasons. The news about Arakawa Under the Bridge live action was already spread for some time. It's said that there will be a live action dorama and movie. The dorama will start airing in late July 2011 and has 10 episodes, while the movie will be released in spring 2012 with the same casts.
Riku and Nino
Synopsis:
Sister, Maria and P-Ko
Ichinomiya Kou is a heir of successful Ichinomiya Company. One day, he falls in to Arakawa river and then saved by a mysterious girl named Nino. After he realizes that he owes his life to Nino, he asks her to say what he must do as a pay back. Then Nino says that Kou must become her boyfriend. Since he doesn't want in debt, Riku accepts that and begin to live in under Arakawa bridge where Nino lives after he's named Riku by the village chief, Soncho. Not long after that, Riku finds out that all the villagers under the bridge are weird. Then the story revolves around Riku's daily life under the bridge together with Nino and all the villagers.

Actually I am little bit disappointed because there're some things in the characters appearances which showed up in the anime but will not show up in the live action such as, Nino's blond hair, Maria's pink hair and Stella's blond hair. I think Hayashi Kento plays as Riku is a right choice. Kento is fit to the role. I recognize Kiritani Mirei who plays as Nino since she played in Hana Kimi, Otomen and Kimi Ni Todoke. I hope she will act well in both dorama and movie. In my opinion, a person who plays as masked character doesn't have to be someone famous. But, the contrary happens in this live action. As you can see in the cast list, Oguri Shun plays as Soncho. I hate "don't really like" Soncho character in the anime but in this live action, my number one favorite actor plays this role. Oooooh nooooo! I beg you to stop, Oguri Shun! Why it must be him!? For God's sake! I am in a dilemma. When I knew it for the first time, I was speechless and didn't know how to react. But I knew it's too late now to stop it, so I must accept it as it is T_T (terribly sorry for exaggerating this). And for the other casts, I hope that they will perform well.
One of my favorite anime, Ouran High School Host Club is made it's live action dorama. This dorama is currently airing now. It started airing on July 22, 2011. I hope that this dorama would be as good as the anime.
Synopsis:
Fujioka Haruhi is poor but she gets a scholarship in an elite school, Ouran High School. One day, while looking for a quite place to study, she gets in to a music room where there's host club. Host club consists of 6 males and their mission is to entertain female guests. Not long after gets in to the room, she accidentally breaks an antique vase which belongs to host club. The club president, Sou Tamaki decides Haruhi will work for the club to pay her debt and she agrees. In order to work as a host, she disguises herself as a boy. After some time, Tamaki realizes that he loves Haruhi. And at the end, finally Haruhi returns his feeling.

My favorite characters is Tamaki-sama. Yamamoto Yusuke from Hana Kimi, plays as Tamaki. But honestly, Yamamoto Yusuke palys as Suou Tamaki is kinda sad. I think the cast should be a Japanese-Europe since Tamaki is a Japanese-France. If I could give an advise, I would suggest Shirota Yuu as Sou Tamaki. Shirota Yuu played as Kagurazaka Makoto in Hana Kimi. Since he's Japanese-Spanish actor, he would be perfectly as Tamaki. I don't really know about Kawaguchi Haruna but I hope she would act well. Daito Shunsuke as Kyouya is fine. Nakamura Masaya is cool enough to play as Morinozuka Takashi. And much to my surprise, since I don't really like Nekozawa character in the anime, but Ryusei Ryo is good looking enough to make me melt :D

Today was such an important day for me. Why? Because now I am officially being a medical student :DDD . Oh yeaaaah, finally !! Woooow !! Hopefully, this step will make me closer to my dream, be a doctor..

I've just finished watching Otomen, a JDrama which is adapted from the same title manga (オトメン(乙男)) by Kanno Aya. This dorama's airing in 2009 and has 12 episodes. I think this dorama is really interesting, so I'd like to write a bit about it.
Summary: Masamune Asuka is very popular because of his good looks and excellence in kendo. But despite of his manly exterior, he is actually an otomen. Otomen is a guy whose girly thoughts and hobbies. Asuka is very skilled in cooking and sewing. He also likes sweets, shoujo manga and cute stuffs. He hides his otomen personality carefully until he meets a girl named Miyakozuka Ryo, who then becomes his classmate. Ryo has a contrary personality of Asuka. She can't cook nor sew but masters many martial arts. But depite of their differences, they fall in love to each other in their first meeting. Their classmate, Tachibana Juta who often observes Asuka and Ryo, then becomes a shoujo manga creator. He makes a manga about Asuka and Ryo's relationship titled Love Chick. After some times, Tachibana becomes worried because Asuka never confess his true feeling to Ryo. However, Tachibana keeps encouraging Asuka to confess until the very end. Finally, Tachibana effort isn't useless. Asuka tells Ryo that he falls in love to Ryo from the very beginning and Ryo says that she wants to protect Asuka from the same time as well.

Commentary:
I think the story line is quite unique. There are many parodies and comedy, so the drama isn't boring and I laughed a lot. The casts performed well, espicially Okada Masaki. He acted as an otomen guy and a top kendo fighter very well and it is very convincing ;D . I love the ending theme, Lover Soul by Shibasaki Kou as well as the ED.
If you're planning to buy Starry☆Sky ～After Autumn～, you should know this. There're two kind of Starry☆Sky ～After Autumn～ edition you can choose, normal and limited edition. Both contain game and drama CD, but only for the limited edition, there's an additional mini drama CD and a postcard book. And of course the limited edition would be more expensive, but isn't that worth it!?

Starry☆Sky ～After Autumn～ is the continuation of Starry☆Sky ～In Autumn～ game which was released on September 25, 2009. So, the main characters would be the same and as sexy as before, but there're some sub characters who are hot enough, too. Each of the main and sub characters represents one of the western zodiacs.
The three main characters are MizushimaIku (水嶋 郁) who represents Gemini, HarukiNaoshi (陽日 直獅) represents Leo and HoshizukiKotarou (星月 琥太郎) represents Libra. The sub characters are including some SeigetsuGakuen's students, the main characters' relatives, acquaintances and the Spring main characters will make appearance too. Here're some sub characters, Tachibana Morio and Awata Kensuke.

It has been a long time since the last time I wrote, even care about this blog of mine. But from now on, I want to write something regularly in this blog. I want to write something that I want to share here.
